When choosing a partner for our business, we are likely selecting from the same four groups: our spouse, our family members, our social circle, or respected business acquaintances.  Should we view this business venture as an opportunity to share a meal with those we love?  Should we chose our business partners based on rapport and friendship?  Or rather, should we view the business as the endeavor of making the pie itself, and not of consuming it?  What are the dangers of starting a business or working with those who are the closest to you in other parts of life?
