A little over 5 years ago we had the opportunity to work with Herman Thun, a local Austin legend.  His architecture firm, LZT, has been an Austin fixture since 1982, with a history in Peoria, IL that spanned 80 years.  In 2014 LZT and BWM Group merged to form PLACE Designers, Inc.  Herman has inspired many designers inside our firm and in the industry as well as overseeing countless building projects, including buildings that are well known and well loved.

With great reluctance Herman is retiring from his work, but with good motive – he wants to be near his family.  We will miss him!  This Friday we will honor this remarkable career.  If you wish to join us Friday, stop by!  You will have a chance to shake Herman’s hand.
